# How to perform a DB schema upgrade

When we release minor updates of a specific version of QLM, the QLM DB schema may need upgrading.

To ugprade the DB schema, follow the steps below:

* Launch the QLM Management Console
* Go to the Manage Keys tab
* Click the **Sites** menu item
* Select your site
* Click Upgrade DB Schema
* In the results window, confirm that there were no errors.
