# How to activate your trial or purchased license of Quick License Manager

When you request a QLM trial or after you purchase QLM, you will receive a confirmation email with an Activation Key.

To activate your license:

* Launch the QLM Management Console
* Go to the About tab
* Click the License Wizard button
* Answer Yes to the UAC prompt (Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?)
* Click **Activate your license**
* Click Activate Online (if you are connected to the internet)
* Click **I consent** if presented with our Privacy Policy page
* Enter your Activation Key
* Click Activate
